Train crash south of Bedford Saturday, 20 June, 2026 On Friday 19 June, there was a collision between two East Midlands Railway trains on the railway line just south of Bedford at around 5.15pm. Tragically, one of the train drivers died and a number of people were taken to hospital, some in a serious condition. Others were treated for injuries.
