Today, Richard spoke in the House of Commons debate on implementing the 2020 Obesity Strategy.

Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire and member of the Business Select Committee said:

I spoke in the debate to raise concerns highlighted to me by local firm Jordans and farmers in my constituency who are supplying them, along with other businesses caught by new regulations as well as to raise concerns about the impact of the strategy on those with eating disorders.

It was a very positive debate which was clear on the concerns around obesity but with strikingly different approaches proposed. I hope the government was listening.
