Richard has the Covid vaccine

On Saturday, Richard had his first dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine and shared a video of the experience, thanking all those involved across Bedfordshire who are working so hard to deliver this monumental vaccination effort and lead us out of this pandemic.

This week it was announced that 50% of the UK's adult population - 30 million people - had received their first dose of the vaccination.

All over 50s in England are now being invited to book their vaccination.

Last week, Richard met again with the head of Firearms Licensing for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The signs are that the new processes and increased personnel are helping to reduce the backlog and speed up the process for new applications and renewals.
