Earlier this month, Richard joined over 100 other Members of Parliament to listen to CEO of Open Doors, Henrietta Blyth, and the Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP, introduce the stories of heroic people who have stood by their faith even at extreme peril and violence to themselves and their families.
The launch of this year’s World Watch List by Open Doors, highlights yet again the persecution of faith in many countries across the world. The World Watch List is Open Doors’ annual ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
Speaking after the event, Richard Fuller MP said: "North Korea, Afghanistan and Somalia again rank as the countries with the most extreme persecution.
"Global Britain can, and should, be one of the strongest voices defending freedom of faith and it was encouraging to see the support of so many MPs from across Parliament."
