On Monday, Kemi Badenoch re-shuffled her shadow cabinet and announced the creation of a Conservative Economic Unit led by Andrew Griffith MP, Claire Coutinho MP and Richard Fuller MP. Together they will be focused on building a stronger economy.
The Team has real business experience and will set out the Conservatives plan for growth, higher living standards and fiscal credibility.
Andrew Griffith, is a no-nonsense, pro-growth Shadow Chancellor; Claire Coutinho will be Andrew's deputy across the economic brief, as well as Shadow Business Secretary, and will make sure growth translates into higher living standards. Richard Fuller, as Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, will be focused on fiscal discipline and the savings work which underpins the economic programme.
