This week, the Garden of Remembrance opened in New Palace Yard within the grounds of the Palace of Westminster.
The Garden is a place that Members of Parliament come together to honour those from their constituencies who gave their lives in service to our country.
Speaking from the Garden, Richard Fuller said:
As we approach Remembrance Sunday, I was privileged to place a commemorative stake in Parliament’s Garden of Remembrance in memory of the men and women of North Bedfordshire who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
We shall remember them.
