Richard speaking in Parliament

Richard's request for an Adjournment Debate on the Impact of East Park Energy on North Bedfordshire has been granted by the Speaker and will be held at the end of business in the House of Commons next Tuesday, January 27th.

Richard Fuller MP said:

I have strongly objected to this scheme through the consultation process, and this 30-minute debate will allow me to raise my concerns, and those of many of my constituents directly to the Minister responsible.

In short, this proposed 1,900 acre site is far too large, will permanently scar the countryside of North Bedfordshire, repurposes land with high agricultural value and is one of many enormous infrastructure projects affecting North Bedfordshire.

You can tune in to watch the debate live, probably around 7pm (but possibly a little earlier or later depending on other business), on Parliament TV using this link: https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Commons or on BBC Parliament.
