Richard recently hosted the 30th anniversary of the ITP Association in Parliament.
Richard Fuller MP said:
ITP, or Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura, is an autoimmune disorder characterised by a low platelet count. It affects hundreds of people each year but its cause is not known.
Thirty years ago, local constituent, Mervyn Morgan, joined with others to set up the ITP Support Association to provide guidance and support. Fifteen years ago my predecessor, Alistair Burt hosted a reception at Parliament and it was my honour to do likewise to mark the 30th anniversary.
There was good conversation and some wonderful speeches. I wish the ITP Association continued success.
