UK Parliament Week 24 Poster

UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how people can have their voices heard. It is an exciting highlight in the parliamentary calendar and a fantastic opportunity for schools, youth groups and community organisations to discover more about UK Parliament.

Richard is encouraging individuals and groups in North Bedfordshire to get involved in this year's UK Parliament Week, which is taking place from 18-24 November. People who sign up will be sent a free kit packed with resources, including a booklet, a ballot box, bunting and stickers. There are tailored kits available for youth groups, primary and secondary schools, and adults/over 16s.

Local groups, volunteer organisations and schools in hundreds of constituencies across the United Kingdom have already signed up to get informed, take action and make an impact. Last year, 1.6 million people took part in over 16,000 activities in every region and nation of the UK.

To find out more and to sign up to receive your free kit, please visit the UK Parliament Week website.

MP for North Bedfordshire, Richard Fuller, said:

It is so important that our current and future voters understand how vital their participation is in our democracy and I’m excited to see so many organisations and local groups taking part.

Sign up today to receive your free kit.
