Today, in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister set out the further measures which need to be taken to reduce the transmission of Coronavirus. Richard asked the Prime Minister to ensure that treatments and elective surgery for non-Covid related illnesses were not pushed further back in the queue.

The Prime Minister responded that it was vital to act now to suppress the R rate and drive down infections and ensure the NHS is not overwhelmed with Covid cases.
