Last week Richard held a drop-in surgery at the Church Room in Stevington and was accompanied by Councillors Robert Rigby and Dylan Simmons.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
I am grateful to those constituents who came to see me at last week's drop-in surgery in Stevington. It was also great to get an update on all things Stevington from Janet Day, Chair of the Parish Council and fellow Councillor, John Strutt.
My thanks to everyone who gave up their time on such a beautiful day.
During my visit, I made some purchases including some excellent Stevington honey, from the 'village shop' which opens for a few hours a day every weekday in St Mary's Church Room. I was astonished by how well stocked the shop was and the tremendous range of products available. What a wonderful asset to the village, and being entirely volunteer-run, it perfectly demonstrates the strength of local community cohesion that makes Stevington such a great village.
I was also pleased to be given a tour of the building work at the Church room that will further develop its functionality and value to the village. My thanks to Tricia, Helen, Richard and Rogan for sharing their wealth of knowledge about the hall, the building works and the village in general.
