Richard has been contacted about a number of local planning applications and is taking forward meetings with local stakeholders to discuss local plans. Richard said: "I am aware that many constituents are concerned about planning applications and the number of new homes being planned for our area. I am arranging meetings over the next few weeks to discuss these matters, and associated infrastructure issues. We must make sure that any new developments are sympathetic to the area, so that we can retain the rural character of our towns and villages and properly supported by the appropriate infrastructure needed."
