Richard attending a meeting of the All Party Parliament Group (APPG) on Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

Earlier this month, Richard attended a meeting of the All Party Parliament Group (APPG) on Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The meeting focussed on how the Cost of Living crisis disproportionately affects people with MND and terminal illnesses.

Speaking after the meeting, Richard Fuller MP said:

From my first interaction with MNDA Bedfordshire in Bromham many years ago, I have been struck by the tremendous bravery, commitment and love of the families confronted by this disease.

The APPG on MND always focuses on specific actions - such as calling for increased funding for MND research, and in response, the government pledged £50m last year - and I was pleased that in the meeting last week, the Chair was guiding us to another set of workable proposals.
