On Wednesday, Richard met with local apprentices from the Marshall Group at an event in Parliament to celebrate the 14,000 apprentices working in the UK’s Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors.
Speaking after the event, Richard Fuller MP said:
This Conservative government is putting extra resources behind technical skills and apprenticeships and few schemes are as prestigious as that offered by Marshall Group, a local family owned business that is a national centre of excellence for engineering.
On Wednesday, I met with Year 1 and Year 2 apprentices at a Parliamentary Reception for outstanding apprentices in the fields of aerospace, defence, security and space and discussed how their skills are being developed.
It was also great to be with Cambridge MP, Dan Zeichner, particularly as Marshall Group extend their cross border activities between Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire
