Last week, Richard held drop-in surgeries in Felmersham and Radwell, Bletsoe and Milton Ernest.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was great that so many constituents came to see me and share their views in Felmersham and Radwell village hall last Thursday. I am also grateful to Parish Council Chair, Peter Hartop, for taking the time to meet with me to provide his insights into the issues facing the parish. One of the key issues raised was that of speeding in the village. It was a fortunate coincidence that two members of the Community Policing team also popped along to the surgery and were able to hear first hand about these problems. The following day they took action, stationed themselves at a prime trouble spot and handed out some speeding fines. So thanks also to them for hearing of an issue and immediately taking action.
There was a fabulous turnout at my drop-in surgery in Bletsoe last week. Lots of interesting and engaging discussions and great insight into the goings-on in the village. Thanks to all who took the time to come and see me and apologies to those who had long waits but hopefully the fine weather made the waiting a bit more bearable. Many thanks also to Chair of the Parish Council, Clare Goduti, and local Borough Councillors Martin Towler and Alison Field-Foster for taking the time to come along and share their views.
Many thanks to those who came to see me in Milton Ernest. It is good to see that so many people take the time to attend my surgeries and Milton Ernest was no exception.
These drop-in surgeries are a great opportunity for me to meet face-to-face with constituents to hear their issues and concerns and are far more personal, engaging and often more productive than an exchange of emails.
If you were unable to attend but have an issue that Richard may be able to help with, please see his website for details of upcoming surgeries: https://www.richardfuller.co.uk/surgeries
