Here is further information if you changed job in March or went self employed in March or quit a job in March and have no support.

If you've changed jobs during March, meaning your current employer cannot furlough you under the Job Retention Scheme (where you can get 80% of salary paid by Government whilst a business is closed or reduced due to coronavirus), then you can still access the scheme from whoever employed you on Feb 28th.

So if you've just moved jobs and your current employer is now shutting its doors, it's well worth going back to have a conversation with your previous boss. They can put you on the scheme and recover the cost from Government.

Scheme details here: https://www.businesssupport.gov.uk/coronavirus-job-retenti…/
