2021 GDP 7.5%

Latest GDP figures show the UK’s economy continued to rebound with 7.5% growth last year - the strongest growth since the Second World War and the fastest growing economy in the G7.

Richard Fuller MP said:

Thanks to this government's £400 billion package of support, its historic vaccination programme and making the right calls at the right time, the economy has been remarkably resilient.

GDP grew by 7.5 per cent last year which shows the government's plan is working and demonstrates the benefits of the government's approach, with the UK seeing the fastest growth in the G7 last year and GDP remaining at pre-pandemic levels in December.
