Earlier this week, Richard Fuller MP asked Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether a Minister from his department would meet with him and members of Potton and Sandy Town Councils to discuss investment in their plans for an Active Travel Network. The full question and answer can be watched here.
Richard Fuller commented:
There is an imbalance between the amount of investment towns and urban areas receive for active travel networks compared with rural areas. The Levelling Up White Paper is an opportunity to address this and I was pleased with the affirmative response received from Michael Give regarding a meeting with Sandy and Potton Towns Councils to discuss their active travel network plans and will aim to confirm the details in the coming weeks.
