Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, has welcomed a recent short movie created by film-maker and local constituent, Don Weerasirie, The short video, which highlights the wildlife in Bedfordshire, can be watched here.
Commenting on the film, Richard said:
As we start 2022 there are many reasons for anxiety but also many reasons for optimism and hope. One of these reasons, often overlooked, is the natural beauty of our home county of Bedfordshire. I was so pleased therefore to take a few minutes to watch this beautiful short movie by local resident, Don Weerasirie.
Shot entirely in Bedfordshire over 359 days, the movie reminds me of the importance of protecting our local wildlife, natural areas and rural environment. As Don notes at the end “In order to protect these animals we must protect their habitat.”
