On Monday in Parliament, Richard asked the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Employment, Mims Davies, about the the support the Department for Work and Pensions was giving to encourage access to future work by becoming self-employed.

Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire and Member of the Business Select Committee said:

Despite unprecedented government support, the restrictions imposed to combat the Covid pandemic affected many workers, not least freelancers and the self-employed.

Monday in Parliament I asked what support will be given to those currently considering taking the freelance or self-employed route to accessing opportunities in the workplace.
