Yesterday, Richard had the chance to learn all about egg production at Bird Bros in Swineshead. Started by twin brothers in 1969 and still a family business going from strength to strength more than 50 years later. Commenting on the visit, Richard said: "It was great to be able to visit, especially as the company has just celebrated their 50th birthday! They are a great example of a local success story, now supplying 4 million fresh brown eggs each week across the land, through smaller independent shops, national retailers and food service providers, cafes and restaurants. Thank you for the chance to visit!"
