trailer and towing

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Trailer and Towing Safety met for the first time since the election today. The APPG on Trailer and Towing Safety brings together parliamentarians, towing and trailer industry representatives and consumer groups to discuss and raise awareness of towing and trailer safety in the UK

Commenting on the meeting, Richard said: "I was pleased to attend the All Party Parliamentary Group on Trailer and Towing Safety with my constituent Jane Gurney. Jane created the Tilly Pass scheme in memory of her son Harry who tragically died following an incident with an agricultural trailer.

We heard from the Minister, Baroness Vere, about her wish to work with the APPG and to build on the steps being taken by the APPG as it continues to work with the Department for Transport to improve road safety."
