Following the attempt on former President Donald Trump's life last weekend,  Richard Fuller MP said:

I join other defenders of democracies in condemning the attack on former President Donald Trump.

As we know all too well as Members of Parliament, our open society means our representatives, or those who would wish to represent us, put themselves at risk to defend our democratic right to choose.

I hope the former President has a full and speedy recovery and pray for any innocent victims caught in this heinous act.
