Richard recently visited The Need Project in Stotfold, originally established as a part of the ministry of King’s Baptist Church in Stotfold, but now works through a number of local churches in Central Bedfordshire, dedicated to helping those in central Bedfordshire and the surrounding area that are in poverty or financial hardship.
Speaking after his visit, Richard Fuller MP said:
For twenty years churches in Stotfold led by King’s Baptist Church have arranged food parcels for the needy. It was humbling to witness the faith and dedication of Gordon Hamilton and his volunteers.
As the efforts grew The Need Project was established as a charity in its own right and has provided valuable help to individuals and families during the Covid pandemic and the recent pressure on household budgets from rising food and energy prices.
The Need Project will be moving to new premises soon. You can see how you can help their cause here: https://theneedproject.org/donate/
