Last week, Richard visited the team at Royal Mail's Biggleswade Delivery Office to thank them for all their work this year and for keeping our communities connected throughout the pandemic.
Speaking after the visit, Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, said:
In addition to the usual pre-Christmas pressure of gifts and cards, the Royal Mail this year is also delivering hundreds of thousands of lateral flow test kits for families. So I was very happy to pass on my thanks to the staff at Biggleswade sorting office and to their Manager Steve.
It was also an opportunity to express my appreciation for their work in keeping people connected during the lockdowns of the past two years. What a great contribution to our national efforts and in tackling the isolation and loneliness felt by many. Merry Christmas to all our postal workers.
