On Monday Richard took part in a debate in the House of Commons on HGV Driving Licences.

MP for North East Bedfordshire, Richard Fuller, said:

At my surgery last week a constituent with long experience in the HGV sector highlighted to me some questions and concerns about the proposals for relaxing some of the rules governing the granting of HGV licences, so I was pleased to be able to raise these in Monday's debate.

As a member of the All Party group for Trailer and Towing safety I have a keen interest to ensure that safety standards are maintained. It is not immediately clear if these measures will ensure that they are.
