Richard shows his support for Armed Forces Week

This week is Armed Forces Week - the moment as a country we recognise the dedicated service of our Armed Forces and veterans.

Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, said:

Armed Forces Week is a chance for us to show our gratitude and appreciation for the men and women who make up the armed forces community, from current serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.

We have some of the best armed forces in the world, so it is only right we come together to celebrate the work they do and be proud of them and the whole military wider family. I thank them all for their service.

Last week, Richard met again with the head of Firearms Licensing for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The signs are that the new processes and increased personnel are helping to reduce the backlog and speed up the process for new applications and renewals.
