This week, Richard met with the Bishop of Bedford, the Rt. Revd Richard Atkinson at the Bishop's Lodge in Cardington. Bishop Richard oversees 150 parishes in Bedfordshire.

Bishop Richard is a source of great insight and it was very enjoyable to share a coffee and review the last year in life, faith and politics in Bedfordshire and beyond.
Our conversation ranged widely from local schools, the impact of new housing, domestic abuse, vulnerability to crime in isolated areas of the county and ethics in society.
As we celebrate Christmas and head toward the new year, I renew my commitment to supporting the vital work that our churches and other religious communities do across North and East Bedfordshire.
