During a virtual meeting earlier this week, members of the Biggleswade and Ivel Rotary Club asked Richard about the local vaccine rollout, the environment and housing, among othere topics raised by memeber.
Richard reinforced his support for the Prime Minister’s 10 point plan for a Green Industrial Revolution and reaffirmed his commitment to work with local parish councils to maintain the rural character of Bedfordshire.
Richard commented: During the meeting, I was able to thank members of the Rotary Club who are volunteering to assist the local vaccination effort. In my talk, I spoke about how new media technologies like Twitter and Facebook are challenging political discussion and freedom of speech and reaffirmed my personal commitment to respectful debate as the best way to resolve political differences."
