Last Wednesday, Richard joined a session of Music for Memory in Potton. The sessions are run by the Tibbs Dementia Foundation and provide music therapy to aid memory & communication for people with dementia.
Speaking after the event, Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, said:
Music for Memory is one of the fantastic services provided by our own local, Tibbs Dementia Foundation, so I was delighted to join at this week’s session in Potton.
My singing is not the best (to say the least), but what I lacked in skill I tried to make up for in enthusiasm: much greater talents were on display!
Tibbs Dementia Foundation continues to do great work, and even during the past year or so of COVID when in-person gatherings became impossible, they stepped up with a fabulous online solution. Please watch this video to witness the impact they have on people's lives.
