Earlier this month, Richard joined four Scouts from Biggleswade at an afternoon tea they had arranged - an event to raise funds to help them attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea with 40,000 Scouts from all over the world. The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) is a World Organization of the Scout Movement event which happens every four years.
Speaking after the event, Richard Fuller MP said:
I was delighted to join the four scouts from Biggleswade have been selected to attend the 2023 Jamboree in Korea at their fundraising afternoon tea.
Scouting is a wonderful thing for young people and this event was very well-prepared and attended.
I wish the four many congratulations and the bets of luck with their fundraising efforts.
