Richard welcoming people to Linstock meeting

As Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Corporate Governance, Richard welcomed over 100 Company Secretaries and General Counsels to the launch of the APPG's biennial review of key issues confronting our public listed companies.

Richard Fuller MP said,

The report, diligently prepared by Lintstock, highlighted the significant broadening of risks that Board directors must now assess following Covid, rising global security issues and the pressures for identifying and retaining talented employees.

I was delighted that the Government recently withdrew further regulations that would have created unnecessary reporting requirements on listed companies but there is much further to go. Hopefully the current call for evidence on regulations will mean future action to help restore U.K. competitiveness.
