Richard has been elected to serve on the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee. Richard was a member of the Select Committee until 2017 and will be re-joining at a critical time as we move forward with plans to become carbon zero by 2050.
Commening on the election outcome, Richars said: "I am very grateful to colleagues across the House who have elected me to serve on the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee. I am very happy to serve on the Committee again - we have an important role in scrutinising the vital work of of the BEIS Department."
