Last week, Richard attended a meeting in Ravensden organised by BFARe and the Parish Council to update residents on the construction impact assessment of East West Rail. BFARe is a grassroots campaign fighting for the re-consultation of the East-West Rail route.
Speaking after the meeting, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was a packed meeting at Ravensden Village Hall as residents heard from BFARe about the real impact that the proposed route for East West Rail will have on their village, their countryside and their environment.
Plenty of new information about the huge land grab EWR will do in addition during construction.
BFARe and the Parish Councils are holding a series of these meetings to share information across the Borough on the consequences of the construction maps which they have obtained through FOI requests.
