Raising the work of youth sports coaches

During yesterday's statement on support for professional and amateur sport, Richard took the opportunity to raise the hard work of coaches of youth sports, many of whom are volunteers, like those at Biggleswade Athletic Club, who have worked hard to create a safe environment during this difficult time.

The Minister responded that he applauded the work that coaches did, particularly the many volunteers. Commenting, Richard said: "I was grateful for the Minister's commitment to work with me on this issue and explore what further support can be provided."
