East Park Energy Plant

Registration to submit objections to the proposed 1900 acre Solar Plant East Park Energy, will close on Wednesday. The large-scale development spanning North Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire covers 74% of prime agricultural land and includes a 100 MW battery storage facility.

Members of the public who wish to have their say must register as an ‘Interested Party’ by Wednesday, 14 January at 23:59.

Richard Fuller MP said:

I am opposing East Park Energy because its scale is simply far too large, and the majority of the site would be built on Bedfordshire’s prime agricultural land. If you share concerns about the impact of this development, I strongly encourage you to register as an Interested Party before the deadline this Wednesday.

You can read Richard’s concerns about the proposal in more detail here.
