Solar farm

RNA Energy Ltd have contacted Richard regarding their plans for a large solar farm between Keysoe, Little Staughton and Pertenhall.

Commenting, Richard Fuller MP said:

As I am not aware of the background and experience of this business, and as their proposal would have a significant impact on North Bedfordshire, I have asked for a meeting with their management team and will provide updates following the meeting.

I will also seek the views of the Parish Councils that might be impacted should this project be given the go ahead.

As we have learned, local residents often find out about major projects too late in the process for their views to have effect.

The company is running an “initial consultation” from 17th October until 21st November. This does not appear to be a statutory consultation.

If you attend any of the events, I would be very interested to hear your views.

All the information, including details of public events organised by the company in Keysoe and Little Staughton are set out on the East Park Energy website, and you can also provide your feedback to the proposals as part of the consultation process using the following link:  https://eastparkenergy.co.uk/
