Pharmacists play a crucial role in our NHS. Today's announcement that patients will be able to get same-day appointments with local pharmacists is a great first step to relieving pressure on our local GP’s. It works well in other countries and hopefully it will allow those needing help with minor ailments to be treated much quicker.
