GDP Nov 21

Latest figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), show that GDP grew by 0.9% in November and is now 0.7% above its pre-pandemic peak (February 2020) for the fist time.

There was an increase in output in all sectors in November 2021, with services output the main driver of GDP growth, contributing 0.5 percentage points

Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, commented:

Given the incredibly difficult conditions that businesses have suffered throughout the pandemic, this represents a remarkable economic recovery and huge praise should go to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak for the many measures he has introduced to support businesses and employees during this period. The government is continuing to prioritise the economy and support people and businesses through grants, loans and tax reliefs and our Plan for Jobs.
