Surgeries and Town Hall Meetings

Richard holds regular advice surgeries for his constituents in North Bedfordshire. If you are not sure if Richard is your MP, please enter your postcode here.

Surgeries are an opportunity for constituents to meet with Richard and bring their problems or concerns to his attention. Richard holds three types of surgery:

  • In person, by appointment only
  • Online or by telephone, by appointment only
  • Drop-in, no appointment necessary

Please remember to include your full name, address and a contact telephone number and provide a brief outline of the issue you would like to raise with him. 

If your problem is urgent, Richard will always try to progress your case without an appointment and if you call the number above, Richard’s team is available to help.

  • Thursday 16 October 12-2pm - Online/by telephone. Please call 01767 317224 to arrange an appointment.
  • Friday 24 October 3-5pm - Appointment surgery. Biggleswade Conservative Club, St Andrew's St, Biggleswade SG18 8BA. Please call 01767 317224 to arrange an appointment.
  • Friday 31 October 12.30-2pm - Drop-in Surgery.  Sandy Conservative Club, 19 Bedford Rd, Sandy SG19 1EL. No appointment necessary - please come along and share your views.
  • Monday 10 November 12-2pm - Online/by telephone. Please call 01767 317224 to arrange an appointment.

Richard also holds regular "town hall" meetings across the constituency. The next scheduled town hall meetings are set out below. These meetings provide an opportunity in a public forum to hear Richard's views on current issues and to ask him any questions:

Richard holds a drop-in surgery in Sharnbrook

Last week, Richard held a drop-in surgery at Sharnbrook Village Hall and met with the Parish Council beforehand for an update on the village. Richard holds regular surgeries across the 50 or so towns and villages he represents so that residents can raise any issue of concern.

Last week, Richard held a 'Town Hall' meeting in Wyboston Village Hall. Speaking afterwards, he said: We covered a wide range of topics with local issues at the fore, including the awful, ongoing problems that so many residents suffer with sewage, transport and housebuilding concerns linked to Ea
