This morning in Parliament, Richard questioned the Rail Minister about the environmental impact of East West Rail.

Richard Fuller, the Member of Parliament for North East Bedfordshire, said:

Many of my constituents are baffled that this 21st-century project will use a 19th-century fuel so I asked the Rail Minister would look again at the environmental considerations that East West Rail has undertaken.

I have also secured an Adjournment Debate next Monday on EWR which will provide a forum for me to question the Minister more widely on many aspects of East West Rail, including the route decision process and the flawed consultation.

The full question can be watched here.
