Richard joins Clapham Councillors for a Litter Pick

Last Friday, Richard joined Councillor Jane Walker and members of the Parish Council in Clapham for a litter pick around the parade of shops. Richard has been taking part in a series of litter picks around North East Bedfordshire to help with the Great British Spring Clean which took place between 28 May and 13 June 2021. Nationally, 1.15 Million miles of British outdoor spaces cleaner and greener are now cleaner thanks to all the people who took part in the challenge.

After the litter pick, Richard visited Carriage Drive to meet with local residents and hear their concerns over the planned route of East West Rail.

Last week, Richard met again with the head of Firearms Licensing for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The signs are that the new processes and increased personnel are helping to reduce the backlog and speed up the process for new applications and renewals.
