rail meeting

Yesterday, Richard met with Tom Moran, the Managing Director of GTR and representatives of the Arlesey and Biggleswade Rail User Groups. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss local train services, reliability, infrastructure issues and plans for station improvements.

Commenting after the meeting, Richard said: " I am very grateful to the volunteers who run the RUGs and the work they do on behalf of local rail users. We discussed the Williams Review (due to be published in mid-February), daily service issues, East Coast Mainline Upgrade and upgrading station facilities."
