Central Bedfordshire Council are conducting a consultation on their draft Local Transport Plan 4 (LTP4).
The council explains their proposed vision and approach for transport and travel across Central Bedfordshire up to 2040.
The draft Local Transport Plan focuses on four key themes:
- Enabling people to live happier, healthier lives
- Helping businesses and communities to thrive and prosper
- Making transport safer and more equitable for everyone
- Preserving and enhancing Central Bedfordshire's special natural and built environment
Local residents are encouraged to review the draft plan and share their views through the consultation which is open until 20 September 2026:
