Map of Pipe Upgrades to Hitchin Street Biggleswade

Anglian Water have written to confirm that their work to install new water pipes along Hitchin Street in Biggleswade is due to start from next Monday, 27th April.  This is part of a £7.9 million investment in Biggleswade to reduce bursts and keep water flowing, alongside upgrades to the water recycling centre to improve wastewater treatment and protect local rivers for the future.

Unfortunately this will necessitate significant disruption until the end of the project in September with traffic lights controlling traffic flow initially before full closure of the road from May 8th.

You can keep up with progress and any updates by visiting the dedicated web page that Anglian Water have established: https://www.anglianwater.co.uk/Biggleswade
