A1 Northbound closed this weekend from Tempsford to Black Cat Roundabout

A1 northbound diversion

National Highways have informed Richard that the A1 northbound will be closed this weekend from 9pm Friday 17th to 5am Monday 20th April 2026 for safety barrier and verge removal.

Please use the recommended diversion as follows and the map below:

  • exit A1 at Tempsford Interchange onto St Neots Road
  • take A428 towards Wyboston
  • rejoin A1 at Wyboston Interchange
