Although it has been operational for a few weeks now, last week marked the official opening of the 'Access for All', step-free platform access at Biggleswade station.

Richard Fuller MP, who attended the ribbon cutting ceremony, said:

A lot of people have worked tirelessly over many years to bring this project to fruition and they rightly deserve plaudits for their perseverance and patience in maintaining focus on this scheme.

I am delighted to have played my own small part and was honoured to participate in the official opening.

Richard recorded the following video showing the new lifts and ramps to the platforms: https://youtu.be/YWo3EeabTs0?si=58D71sX1bSjLndvv
