Ahead of Small Business Saturday earlier this month, Richard visited local businesses in Potton and and spent the afternoon meeting with shop owners and staff in Potton Town Square.

Last year, I was pleased to join the 100-year celebrations for Claytons the family butchers. It was equally encouraging to visit Tysoe & Sons, a hardware shop with an even longer local heritage and a wide range of useful items for the home. I even got some helpful advice about a home repair.
Potton Post Office has welcomed a new postmistress and was as busy as ever during my visit. I also enjoyed a thoughtful conversation at Potton Food Stores, where we reflected on how the community came together during the pandemic.
It was a pleasure to see the strong community spirit in Potton.
