Richard recently appeared on LBC Radio to discuss the case of Cameron Arneaud, who was tragically killed by a driver that was in the UK illegally and who was driving without a UK driving license and without valid insurance. Cameron's parents are Richard's constituents.
Richard Fuller MP said:
The public are rightly frustrated that after serving a paltry 10 weeks in prison for his crime, the perpetrator has yet to be deported and is now fighting a legal case to be allowed to remain in this country.
I have written to the Home Secretary asking for discretionary powers to be used to deport the perpetrator immediately.
