UK Parliament's Teacher Training Team are hosting their next 3-day residential Teacher Ambassador Programme on the 2nd - 4th February 2026.
The programme is open to headteachers, teachers and educators at all stages of their career, teaching any subject.
The successful 65 applicants will have their travel, accommodation, and meal costs covered. The course aims to build confidence in teaching about the UK Parliament so they can then cascade what they’ve learned to their schools and communities following the programme.
Throughout the three days, the teachers will:
- explore the Palace of Westminster
- participate in Q&A sessions with the Speaker, Lord Speaker and Members of both Houses
- hear from colleagues working in key roles across the House
- collaborate with each other to explore ways of teaching about UK Parliament.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 26th October.
